Scenes from the North

I wanted to share some of the photos I’ve taken over the last year or so since we’ve moved to Yellowknife. I’m picking out some that are unique to the north and make this such an interesting and wonderful place to live.

  1. Lovely pictures, especially the sunset.

We have bison by our cabin. One day I was taking pictures of them (safely behind a fence) and something startled them and they all decided to run.I have never heard such a loud noise produced from hooves. It was amazing. Every time I see a bison picture I think of that.
