dark, moody and mysterious

It’s that time of the year when things quiet down for me and I get a chance to look inwards. Time to reflect, listen to the wind, watch the leaves and take in the occasional absolutely beautiful day (like today) is why Fall is my favourite season. That, and listening to Feist on repeat “How come you never go there?” and painting.

A new series of paintings will arrive in the ByWard Market soon…stay tuned.

Awash in colour and movement vs minimal and simplistic black on white

I’m happy with both paintings . So much depends on mood, weather, seasons… “There’s comfort in melancholy when there’s no need to explain. It’s just as natural as the weather in this moody sky today” – Joni Mitchell
